Chula Vista Police Department to host first Tacos with a Cop event

Tacos with a cop is an informal get-together for residents to meet the officers who patrol their neighborhood, ask questions, and voice concerns at a casual location.

The department’s first Tacos with a cop event will feature free food and drinks provided by Northgate Market on 1058 Third Avenue. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Chula Vista Police Department will host its own Taco Tuesday with its first Tacos with a Cop event, encouraging community members to engage with local law enforcement while enjoying free food. 

The department’s first Tacos with a cop event will feature free food and drinks provided by Northgate Market on 1058 Third Avenue. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tacos with a Cop is a version of the department’s Coffee With a Cop, which is an informal get-together for residents to meet the officers who patrol their neighborhood, ask questions, and voice concerns at a casual location.
