Jimmy Buffett is set to perform in Snapdragon Stadium's first-ever concert later this year.

The big announcement was made this week, adding a special beginning to the opening of San Diego's newest stadium where countless events will take place in the future.

However, Buffett will not be performing alone, as he plans to include a local touch to this big night by adding local artist Jason Mraz to the line-up.

As Buffett includes America's Finest City to his Life On The Flip Side Redux tour on October 22 of this year, the great music artist from Mississippi is bringing the Grammy award-winning artist with him to add a hometown touch to the historic evening.

Mraz, American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, says that this night is a fun event he is looking forward to performing in.

“It’s an honor to be asked to take part in the fun,” said Mraz. “My band and I are really looking forward to it!”

The General Manager of Snapdragon Stadium says that they are excited to have Jimmy Buffet and Jaosn Mraz as the two artists that get to show their talents in front of thousands of locals in this grand venue.

“We are not only excited to be announcing Snapdragon Stadium’s first concert, but we are beyond thrilled to open San Diego’s newest, state-of-the-art venue with such an iconic artist like Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band,” said Adam Millar, general manager. “Buffett, along with hometown hero, Jason Mraz, will make for an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience you can’t miss.”

Mraz just recently released a compilation album called “Lalalalovesongs,” which includes popular tracks such as “Lucky,” “I’m Yours,” and “I Won’t Give Up.”

The pre-sale tickets for this night will officially go on sale on Thursday, 23, at 10 a.m. pacific time zone. General ticket sales will be available a day later on June 24, at 10 a.m.
