A seven-month-old baby from San Diego that went missing in Tijuana was found in Playas De Rosarito and is in good health, according to Baja's Attorney General Ricardo Caprio's office in Tijuana.
Mexican authorities issued an Amber Alert in Baja California on June 8 for Valentina Sabean, who has been missing since April 17, when her parents reportedly crossed the border to Tijuana. The baby’s mother, Racquel Sabean had been found dead in an abandoned vehicle, wrapped in a white blanket on May 31.
The baby’s father, who was identified in the amber alert as “ Paul W. PH” was arrested for unknown charges and was transferred in custody to U.S. Federal officials, according to a spokesperson for Baja California District Attorney General.
Carpio had previously told Tijuana media “probably, the father is the suspect, and he could take us to find the baby”. He added that authorities in Tijuana are working with U.S. Authorities in this case.
Authorities had not released further information.
