It has been two years since the managers and membership representatives of the Envision Broadway Revitalization Committee have gathered to discuss ways to generate a better image and greater order in the distribution of businesses on this important road.

An outstanding takeaway from that meeting was the match between virtual meeting participants in favor that “more specialized stores” being privileged. In April 2022, the Envision Broadway Revitalization Committee, convened by the South Bay Institute of Public Strategies, added an attractive and innovative element to the improvement plan:

The plan included the participation of young people in the painting of murals, which gave a special attraction to businesses and strengthened the concept of community participation.
