Registered voters in San Diego County can expect voter information pamphlets in their mailboxes in the coming days ahead of the Nov. 8 statewide General Election.

Pamphlets will be mailed out to all active registered voters on Oct.7 and ballots will be mailed out by Oct. 8, according to the San Diego County Registrar of Voters. Registered voters can find important information such as voting options, election deadlines, and candidate statements within the pamphlets.

“It also includes a sample of your official ballot. You may use the sample ballot to practice making your selections before marking your official ballot,” according to the registrar.

Voters who signed up to receive electronic ballots should receive an email when it becomes available online. Those who would like to be among the first to see their pamphlet can sign up to receive all future pamphlets electronically.

Voters can find a list of ballot drop box and vote center locations inside their voter information pamphlet. Voters can also see their pamphlets online.

Visit sdvote.com, or call (858) 565-5800 or toll-free at (800) 696-0136 for more information about voting in the general election.
