Latina Leaders to Be Empowered Through Business Workshop

The program “Mujeres en Acción – Business Workshop” will offer an intensive training on communication and sales designed for businesswomen and entrepreneurs. The goal is to strengthen leadership skills, boost confidence, and improve financial results.

The one-day workshop will take place in Chula Vista on October 11 and in Vista on October 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), according to Celebrando Latinas.

The training will be led by Fanny Miller, an entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in the service and community development sectors, widely recognized for mentoring Latina businesswomen; and Erica Alfaro, an international speaker and author of several books on leadership and empowerment, who has participated in high-impact events and programs across Latin America and the United States.

The workshop will cover five key areas:

Public Speaking with Confidence – techniques to overcome stage fright, structure effective speeches, use body language and voice effectively, and emotionally connect with the audience.
Fearless Selling – exploring sales mindset, identifying client needs, ethical persuasion techniques, closing strategies, and handling objections.
Building a Sales Plan – setting clear goals, calculating weekly, monthly, and annual targets, and creating strategies to attract clients through digital marketing, networking, and referrals.
Securing Business Funding – exploring financing options such as traditional credit, government programs, women-focused funds, angel investors, seed capital, and crowdfunding.
Effective Networking – highlighting the importance of building business relationships, presenting yourself at events, generating authentic connections, and using social media and digital platforms to grow your network.
