Communicator Bibi Uribe, recognized for more than three decades of work in the media, recently launched her book Del silencio a las palabras, a work that brings together experiences, anecdotes, and lessons that have shaped both her professional career and her personal life.

Published by Lapicero Rojo and introduced with a foreword by journalist Luz Elena Picos, the book serves as an intimate invitation to reflect on the power of words, not only in the professional arena but also in everyday life.

Alongside hosting the 15th edition of the Celebrando Latinas conference on August 2, Uribe also participated as a speaker, signing copies of her book for hundreds of women who attended the event and sharing her experiences through a workshop. There, she spoke about the editorial work in which she recounts significant episodes from her career as a reporter, producer, radio host, and actress, while also offering reflections on the craft of communicating with authenticity and responsibility.

For more than twenty years, Bibi Uribe was a familiar face to television audiences on the morning program Notivisa Buenos Días on Televisa Tijuana. She currently hosts Más que Palabras on the same network, where she covers topics of community interest. Her consistent presence in the media has cemented her voice as a reference point in the border region.

Her work extends beyond television. Uribe is also a lecturer and a teacher of public speaking and meditation, certified by the International Chamber of Speakers (CIC). This pedagogical facet is reflected in her book, which offers readers practical tools to improve verbal communication, strengthen public expression, and understand words as a bridge between people.

In Del silencio a las palabras, each chapter balances personal memories with practical advice. The stories are at times lighthearted, at times moving, but always guided by a clear premise: the voice not only communicates—it transforms.

The book is aimed at communicators, journalists, public speakers, and students, but also at anyone interested in inspiring life stories and in the search for their own voice.

With this publication, Bibi Uribe reaffirms her commitment to communication as a tool for service and growth. Her book is not only a career testimony but also a life manual that confirms that words, when used wisely, have the power to open paths and leave a mark.
