Local authorities are conducting an active search for a 12-year-old boy reported missing from the Camden Santa Alicia Apartments in Chula Vista, according to information shared by his family member, Yesenia Hernandez.
Hernandez said her younger brother, identified as King, was last seen playing within the apartment complex alongside two girls his age.
Out of concern, the family contacted police, who launched a search operation that includes the use of helicopters in the area. Hernandez noted that it is not typical for her brother to leave without notice or fail to return home.
The family recently moved to Chula Vista in August, and the child is not familiar with the surrounding area. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing gray pants and a white shirt.
