Fans can purchase the inaugural jersey starting today at Eighteen Threads, the club’s retail store in Mission Valley Mall, or online at MLSStore.com.
“This kit embodies the spirit of our Club and the pride of our city,” said SDFC CEO Tom Penn. “We can’t wait to see our players and fans in Chrome & Azul as we kick off our first-ever MLS season.”
The jersey’s design features the club’s Azul base, representing San Diego’s coastal beauty, complemented by Chrome accents that reflect the city’s vibrant communities. Gradient side stripes, incorporating the club’s community colors, symbolize the unity of San Diego’s neighborhoods. Special details include a “Chrome and Azul” jock tag on the front and a “State of Flow” tag on the back collar, celebrating San Diego’s unique lifestyle.

Limited-edition authentic jerseys, featuring an exclusive “Inaugural Season” tag and commemorative packaging, will only be available at Eighteen Threads.
DIRECTV, SDFC’s official jersey partner, will have its logo featured on the front of both the inaugural and secondary jerseys. Vince Torres, DIRECTV’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed excitement about the partnership, calling it an opportunity to create unforgettable moments for fans during the club’s inaugural season.
Fans can join the celebration from December 13–15, with exclusive access to the jersey at Eighteen Threads starting Friday, and culminating Sunday at the Chrome Ball Cup at Snapdragon Stadium. The event includes 5v5 soccer tournaments and on-site jersey sales.

“San Diego FC’s inaugural jersey is a tribute to our community’s depth, richness, and diversity,” said Sebastián Morúa, SDFC’s Senior Vice President of Brand, Marketing, and Community.
