The opportunity to meet more than 250 local, national, and international artists and buy art directly from the creators will be possible by attending Mission Fed ArtWalk, on Saturday, April 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.

In its 39th edition, ArtWalk will host their event in its original headquarters in Little Italy where renowned artists will display their work in painting, sculpture, glasswork, photography, fine jewelry, and more. In addition to interacting with artists and creators, attendees will be able to enjoy live music, interactive art experiences, food, and art projects for the whole family at KidsWalk and more.

“Mission Fed ArtWalk has become a time-honored tradition that encourages all to explore different facets of artistic expression in a friendly environment,” said Curt Brooker, director of ArtWalk San Diego.

“Whether you're an art aficionado or just starting to build a collection, we are proud to help connect San Diego residents and visitors with a sea of talented visual artists from all over the United States, Mexico, and beyond, for 39 years”.

Mission Fed ArtWalk is coordinated by the same team that runs ArtWalk @LibertyStation to the Arts District at Liberty Station (this year, from August 5 to 6) and ArtWalk Carlsbad to the north of the county (this year, from September 1 to 6).

According to a statement, “Each of the ArtWalk San Diego festivals supports its collaborator ArtReach San Diego, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing equity in visual arts education in K-8 schools throughout San Diego County by offering free or low-cost workshops to schools that don't carry other resources for art, focusing on Title I schools.” This year Mission Fed ArtWalk will feature a charity art auction to benefit ArtReach.

Entrance to the event is free and open to the general public. For more information, you can check out www.artwalksandiego.org.
