(City News Service) Register now to hear presentations by experts covering water-conserving landscapes:

- Plant right for your site
- Use water-smart irrigation
The free Naturescape workshop will be held on Saturday, September 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center Branch Library, 365 F Street, Chula Vista.
Workshop attendees will receive a free, drought-tolerant plant. More free gifts and raffle prizes are included! Registration is required for the presentations; visit www.chulavistaca.gov/naturescape to reserve your spot.
Information tables will be available from 10 to 11 a.m., and 2 to 3 p.m. Visit the tables of local organizations for yard care handouts and answers to questions you may have.
In addition, the Chula Vista Garden Club will be having a plant sale open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by for drought-tolerant, California-friendly plants grown by the Garden Club sold at bargain prices while supplies last. Proceeds benefit the Chula Vista Garden Club community programs.
