NOVO Brazil Brewing Company has officially opened its new location in the Mission Valley Mall, previously known as Westfield Mission Valley.
This newest addition to their company is the first NOVO Brazil Brewery outside of the South Bay region of San Diego County. It is now located where Tilted Kilt was operating in previous years.
NOVO founder Tiago Carneiro said that this new location will have the same intention of being a family-oriented environment where local families can stop by and enjoy what the restaurant and bar have to offer while also enjoying and supporting their local sports teams representing San Diego.
“Just like our locations in the South Bay, we want Mission Valley to be a family-friendly community gathering point for San Diego State fans, Padres fans, Wave fans, and fans of any team,” Carneiro said. “A few friends of mine have mentioned that NOVO could be the new Seau’s, which I’ve been told was a Mission Valley staple and the best place to watch our hometown teams. Many kids of the 1990s and early 2000s may have children of their own now, so we hope we can provide a similar experience – along with nostalgia – to both old and new generations.”
The main dining area is 8,000 square feet long with a total capacity of 352 individuals, with the addition of a 3,500 square feet outdoor patio and its capacity of 237 people.
The inside and outdoor areas both have standard table seating and high-top tables, while the patio also includes fire pit lounges. All furniture at this new location was handcrafted in Brazil.
NOVO Mission Valley includes the same food and drink menu as the Imperial Beach and Otay Ranch Town Center locations.
Inside the location are 100-foot pixel pitch LED video walls around the restaurant and bar, connected to 25 JBL speakers for immense and spectacular surround audio to enjoy sporting events. Also, there is a 20-foot vide wall in the outdoor patio area for guests who want to enjoy San Diego sports outside.

Even if you’re attending an event at Snapdragon down the road or at one of San Diego’s other great venues, we invite you to come by for pre-and post-game celebrations.”
