Surf Sports is thrilled to join forces with an exceptional partner like Club América, together committed to bringing a world-class event for the first-time to San Diego, a city rich with Mexican culture and a vibrant soccer community. We look forward to Club América’s academy teams playing stateside, and welcome top teams from across the Americas to compete at the highest level against a growing list of professional youth academies”, said Brian Enge, Surf Sports COO.
Club America’s Sport President, Santiago Baños, says that the reigning defending champions of the Mexican top division is looking forward to this partnership to develop youth categories in the Americas.
“We’re very excited to continue our participation in this new chapter of the tournament Club America Cup. For us it is very important to continue developing our youth categories. The tournament clearly will help them increase their growth in all aspects,”said Santiago Baños.
