The festivities will be held at the Chula Vista City Hall Complex at 276 4th Ave from 12 to 6 p.m. Attendees can find public parking at the facility’s entrance on F Street and the Civic Center Library across the street.
Designed as a family- and dog-friendly event, CV ArtFest promises a range of activities suitable for all ages. Guests can enjoy live music, engage in interactive art-making areas, and savor food from a variety of food trucks. The arts and crafts market will feature over 60 vendor booths offering unique, handmade items for sale.
A major highlight of the festival is an extensive art showcase featuring local talent. Artists such as Signe Ditona, Mr. B Baby, Kyle Garrity, Iz Inocencio, Leslye Villaseñor, Shirish Villaseñor, Iris Wise, Lee Kohse, Mark Delgadillo, Karen Alleluia, Toshwerks, Tan Rose, Steve Wood, and Danny Zavala will display their work, which includes painting, sketching, cartooning, photography, ceramics, murals, and other forms of 2D and 3D art.
The City of Chula Vista, in partnership with Soundskilz, presents CV ArtFest to promote and celebrate diverse artists and cultural arts. This event showcases local heritage, artistic talent, and creativity, with sponsorship from Seven Mile Casino and Steins Hollow Art Gallery. The City aims to foster a vibrant community through innovation, exploration, and artistic expression.
“We are excited to reunite our local artists at CV ArtFest and provide a space for the public to connect with them,” said Erwin Magbanua, the City’s Cultural Arts Manager. “Hosting this event brings immense joy as it highlights the incredible creative talent in our community. Celebrating and engaging with the arts is vital to strengthening our communities.”
