The budget also includes the proposed Measures A and P allocations. Measure A was approved by voters in 2018 and implemented a half-cent sales tax to support public safety staffing. Measure P is the City’s temporary, half-cent sales tax for infrastructure that was approved by voters in 2016.
Two workshops will be held to present elements of the draft Fiscal Year 2023 budget. Open to the public, the 2023 Budget Workshops will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center Library Auditorium, 365 F Street, and Wednesday, April 27, at 6 p.m. at the Otay Ranch Town Center Library HUB Community Room, 2015 Birch Road, Suite 409, near the Food Pavilion.
