Southwestern Community College will begin offering free workshops for a Customer Service Series starting in February.

It’s been confirmed to ChulaVistaToday that all local community members are invited and welcome to join these workshops, which are completely free and will take place at the Goodwill San Diego Community Employment Center in San Ysidro located at 630 Front Street.

The series of workshops will include three different topics. First, in mid-February, the series “The Right Attitude” will teach learners how to master the right attitude to approach a job position within the Customer Service field. And during mid-March, the series will then provide classes on the topic of “Dealing with Difficult People.” The following month of April will be for the third and last workshop in this series called “Customer Appreciation.”

The workshop dates will go as follows:

The Right Attitude: February 13 and 20

Dealing with Difficult People: March 12 and 19

Customer Appreciation: April 9 and 16.

Once each participant completes the workshop series, a certificate of completion will be given to those who enroll and complete the workshops.

The workshops are designed to provide locals with excellent soft skills and certificates to gain a professional advantage in the customer service field.
