The inaugural season of Snapdragon is just around the corner, and you can soon get your hands on single-game tickets.
San Diego State University confirmed that they will start selling football single-game tickets for the upcoming 2022 Aztecs season as of early next month.
The school will be selling the first set of tickets to season ticket holders on Friday, August 8, and will begin selling to the general public a week later on Friday, August 15.
This will be the start to something special in San Diego, as the debut of the massive project that is Snapdragon Stadium kick-off this fall. The venue will have a 35,000 max capacity.
The SDSU football Aztecs have seven games at the Snapdragon this season, kicking off the new season against Pac-12's University of Arizona Wildcats on September 3.
Their home schedules goes in the following order:
- Idaho State (Sept. 10)
- Toledo (Sept. 24)
- Hawai’i (Oct. 8)
- UNLV (Nov. 5)
- San Jose State (Nov. 12)
- and Air Force (Nov. 26).
SDSU representatives also have announced information regarding parking at Snapdragon. The cost for one season parking pass will start at $175, or just $25 for a one game pass. These parking prices will be available to season ticket holders first.
The director of SDSU Athletics says that this project will provide a one-of-a-kind experience for those who get their tickets to attend a collegiate game.
“Snapdragon Stadium will provide a state-of-the-art experience on par with any entertainment offering in the region and collegiate athletics,” John David Wicker, SDSU’s director of athletics, wrote in a statement. “Our fans share that vision and have rallied around this project in an overwhelming way with over 90 percent of our premium seating sold to date, and nearly doubling our season-ticket base from the last full season at SDCCU Stadium.”
