A house fire late Sunday morning displaced three adults in Chula Vista and created thousands of dollars worth of damages.
Fire officials responded to a fire that was reported around 10:30 a.m. at a home around I street near First Avenue. According to Chula Vista Fire Capt. Josh Sanders, the fire was put out quickly.
Officials say the fire was contained to a bedroom, and the estimated damage was about $18,000.
Nobody was injured, and The Red Cross was called to help the three displaced residents.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
