The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) will be increasing services this weekend for the highly anticipated Bad Bunny concert at Petco Park and the sell-out San Diego Wave Fútbol Club game at Snapdragon Stadium. 

The increased services aim to help accommodate a combined 80,000 fans going to watch the game and the concert, MTS said. The following information was provided to help fans navigate the region’s transportation system during the weekend: 

Getting to San Diego Wave at Snapdragon Stadium, game begins at 7 p.m.:

It’s the Wave’s first match in the new Snapdragon Stadium. The Green Line Trolley will provide direct service to and from the stadium approximately every 15 minutes. 

Before the Event:

  • UC San Diego Blue Line and Orange Line: 15-minute service.
  • Green Line: 15-minute service with two additional trips between Downtown San Diego and the Stadium.
    • Additional service (running every 7.5 minutes) between Downtown and the Stadium will be provided from approximately 5:50 p.m. until 6:20 p.m.
    • In addition, MTS will run four-car trains starting 2 hours before the match for added capacity.

Post-Event:

  • UC San Diego Blue Line and Orange Line: 30-minute service
  • Green Line: Extended 15-minute service until at least 10 p.m., with additional shuttle service as needed. Select eastbound trips that terminate at SDSU will extend to Santee.

Getting to the Bad Bunny concert at PETCO Park, doors open at 5 p.m.:

All three MTS Trolley lines provide direct access to Petco Park. According to MTS, the 12th and Imperial, Gaslamp Quarter or Park and Market stations provide convenient access to the show. 

Pre-Event:

  • Green, Blue, and Orange Lines will run 15-minute service.

Post-Event:

  • UC San Diego Blue Line: 15-minute service will be extended north to UTC. 15-minute service to San Ysidro until 11:30 p.m., with additional service as needed.
  • Orange Line: 30-minute service until 11:55 pm with additional service as needed
  • Green Line: 15-minute service with additional service as needed

Fans are able to park their cars for free at dozens of MTS transit centers
