These are some options for you to get engaged in the community in the incoming weeks.
Senior Saturday in National City. Saturday April 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kimball Park, 12th Street y D Avenue, National City.
The Community Services department commits to assist the senior community. Most of their senior activities are based out of National City's Kimball Senior Center as well as the Nutrition Center. This Saturday at Kimball Park, there will be live music, sing-along, bicycle skill course, and board games for Seniors to enjoy. There will also be food available for those seniors in attendance.
Pancho Barraza. Saturday 23, at 8 p.m. Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on SDSU's campus, 5500 Campanile Dr.
The popular Mexican regional singer will be performing at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre where he will be singing his classic tracks that are well-known in the Mexican community. Barraza has been a "banda" artist since the early 1990's when he joined Banda Los Recoditos.
Disney On Ice: Mickey and Friends. Thursday, April 28 to Sunday, May 1, Pechanga Arena, 3500 Sports Arena Boulevard.
Grab your Mickey Mouse ears and head on over to Pechanga Arena for Disney On Ice for this fun family-orientated experience.
