The San Diego County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk (ARCC) announces the hiring of Alejandra Larios as chief deputy of people and customer experience strategies.

Larios will work closely with several job positions at the ARCC office, including human resources, strategic planning, change management, project management, customer experience, and communications.

“I am excited for the opportunity to use all my skills for the benefit of our constituents in San Diego County,” Larios said. “I look forward to continuing our office’s track record of excellent customer service and helping to simplify complex issues for taxpayers.”

The Latina Chief Deputy has a compelling track record in her field, previously serving as chief of staff with the Maricopa County Assessor’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona. In the Fall of 2007, Larios joined Maricopa County working in several positions throughout various departments before becoming the Assessor, including the Clerk of the Superior Court and Correctional Health Services.

The Deputy Chief worked in human resources at U-Haul International in Phoenix and at Target stores in her hometown of Los Angeles.

“We’re fortunate to have Alejandra join our staff,” said Jordan Marks, San Diego County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk (ARCC). “She is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, as are all members of my office.”
