The Chula Vista Police Department responded to gunshots that left two men injured late Friday night.
According to CVPD Lt. Matt Smmith, police received a 911 call shortly before 11 p.m. to report the gunshots just east of Fourth Avenue. Officers found a gunshot victim, who was later transported to a hospital.
The CVPD was notified of another gunshot victim, also hospitalized, by the San Diego Police who may have been wounded in the same incident.
That victim was also taken to a hospital.
No other details, including a description of the shooter, were available.
