Otay Ranch Town Center will see over 17,000 twinkling lights on a Christmas tree standing nearly 50 ft. on Nov.16 for an annual holiday-themed Tree Lighting and Holiday Farmers Market.
As the centerpiece, the Christmas tree will be dressed with 1,000 ornaments, an LED Grand Star Topper and an illuminating color-changing base with snowflakes. Santa will make an appearance to light the Christmas Tree at 7:00 p.m. on Main Street.
“We are thrilled to welcome our community back for this festive annual tradition and we're excited to showcase the new tree," said Otay Ranch Town Center General Manager Tim Kilcourse.
Promptly after, magic snowfall at Santa’s House will begin. Otay Ranch Town Center will see roaming carolers, holiday-themed merchants and gifts, in addition to local entertainment and music.
A line up of certified farm-stands, street food and hand-crafted gifts will be available. Holiday-themed family friendly activities including free arts and crafts for kids will be part of the celebration. There will also be free cookies and hot chocolate from 5:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m.
