San Diego Police are investigating a shooting in Otay Mesa West that left one person with non-fatal injuries to the leg.
According to San Diego Police, the shooting was reported at 3:35 p.m. on Picado Boulevard near Beyer Way. The incident occured near Montgomery Middle and Montgomery High schools.
A detailed description of the shooter was not made available.
Police say the male victim was taken to the hospital. The police did not release further information.
