UFC announces a partnership extension with one of the biggest names in the Latin music industry, Anuel AA.
Both sides confirmed the monumental business move over the weekend, which enhances the relationship between the Latin music star with one of the fastest-growing companies in the sports world today.
Anuel AA has always expressed his profound fandom for UFC, often attending big events hosted by the sports company and taking pictures with some of the biggest stars in their industry.
“I’ve long been a UFC fan, so when the opportunity to collaborate from a business side presented itself, it was a dream come true,” said Anuel. “I aim to become a brand ambassador and connect the Latino community to the sport through my music while continuing to open doors to our culture. This is just the beginning for UFC and Anuel.”
Grant Norris-Jones, Vice President, Global Partnerships – UFC, says that the Latin music star has been one of the biggest supporters of the mixed martial arts company. Norris-Jones says that Anuel's passion and charisma are one of the many reasons why they are excited to continue to work along side with him going forward.
“Anuel is one of the best ambassadors we have for this sport and for UFC,” said Grant Norris-Jones. “His passion, energy, and charisma are undeniable, and we’re looking forward to featuring him within more UFC content. Our brands share a lot in common—we’re both pioneers at the top of our respective industries. By working together, we have an opportunity to reach even greater heights and connect with more fans in a meaningful, authentic way," he added.
Here's a breakdown of the agreements reached with Anuel joining UFC as an Official Marketing Partner:
UFC's Pay-Per-View events will have Anuel's branding for the remainder of the year, including live broadcast features and his branding inside of the fighting Octagon.
The fighting company will work with Anuel to create creative content that is expected to be shared on UFC's digital and social media platforms.
And also in the deal, Anuel grants UFC full rights to use every song from discography, including Real Hasta la Muerte, Emmanuel, and Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren. The songs would be played in moments such as pre-fight walk outs, and also during live shots of any UFC broadcast event.
