Chula Vista-based NOVO Brazil Brewing Company will host a fundraiser later this month to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.
NOVO Brazil Brewing’s Founder, Tiago Carneiro, announced it would host the Giving Tuesday fundraiser on November 28 to benefit the local non-profit organization at their Imperial Beach and Otay Ranch Town Center locations.
According to the brewery, 10 percent of all sales from both locations on that day will be donated to the local Ronald McDonald House Charities, the independent non-profit whose expressed goal is to focus on developing, discovering, and endorsing initiatives that directly enhance the health and overall well-being of local children.
This fundraiser is an annual tradition that takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving weekend. The annual tradition encourages community involvement across San Diego, aiming to increase support for local businesses that give back to their communities.
Brewery-lovers who visit either of those NOVO locations on that day are encouraged to use the hashtag #GivingTuesday in their publications.
“We are thrilled to be able to give back to our community and support such a worthy cause,” Carneiro said. “We hope that our donation will help San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House continue to provide much-needed support to families during difficult times.
