SANDAG will host workshops across the San Diego region to allow the public to learn more about future transportation improvements in their neighborhoods.
Every four years, SANDAG creates a Regional Plan that serves as a blueprint for the region’s growth, including where people will live and how they will move around. The draft 2025 Regional Plan aims to make the area’s transportation system more convenient, healthy, safe, and equitable.
SANDAG collaborates with the region’s 18 cities, the County of San Diego, local, state, and federal government agencies, community-based organizations, and the public to develop this vision.
Significant benefits of the draft 2025 Regional Plan include:
- Projects that connect people to transportation, jobs, and education
- Strategies to improve air quality
- Solutions backed by data and public input
