Here are some of the cool things to do in San Diego for Fourth of July weekend.
1. Lake Murray Fireworks and Musicfest

Come celebrate this holiday at Lake Murray Park in the San Carlos area. This event brings local communities in the county together to celebrate our Independence Day with the hot sun and a lake. The musicfest will kick off at 11am and will go through 9pm at night. The fireworks will start lighting up the sky at 9pm sharp, so don't miss out on this fun opportunity. This is the first event they hold on this holiday since 2019 before the COVID pandemic.
2. Harbor & Sky Rooftop Bar and Lounge

What's better than enjoying a nice cocktail on a holiday night with a view? Oh yes, how about enjoying 4th of July fireworks with your friends and/or family while sipping on some quality beverages? At Harbor and Sky Rooftop you can get the best of both worlds in terms of a nighlife scene and an independence Day celebration all in one night. You must be 21 and older to enter.
3. Bay Park 4th of July Block Party

Join this 4 hour celebration at Western Hills Park where there will be a family enviroment for you and your loved ones to enjoy. There will be a Bounce House obstacle course, Face Painting, a live DJ, Food Truck options, Baloon Arists for the kids, and much more.
4. WWE Monday Night RAW

Monday night wrestling fo Independence Day? This is a perfect way to celebrate your day off as a wrestling fan living in San Diego. Come see live performance of Riddle vs Seth Rollins, WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair, and of course, local superhero Rey Mysterio.
5. 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run- UC Celebration July 4th 2022 (University City)
Standley Recreation Center

Come enjoy a sunny 5k and 1 Mile run on this special holiday next Monday. The 5K run will go through Standley Park and Standley Middle School along the sidewalks, grass athletic fields, and their new jogging/walking paths. The 2 mile course will loop next to the Standley Middle School back sports field, and the the athletic field between the middle school and the pool facility. Medals will be handed out during the UC Celebration later that day.
Registration and Bib collection opens at 6:30 AM on July 4th.
7:45 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run Begins
8:00 AM (or after the conclusion of the 1-Mile) – 5k Begins
