The event will be held at the City Hall courtyard, located at 276 Fourth Avenue, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This free-to-attend festival aims to showcase the diverse and remarkable talent of local artists from Chula Vista and the South Bay.
The Chula Vista Art Fest promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees, featuring an array of activities and attractions. Among the highlights are the exciting exhibit spaces and vendor booths, where painters, sketch artists, cartoonists, photographers, ceramicists, muralists, and other creative minds can proudly display their 2D and 3D art pieces. Artists with arts-related items for sale are also encouraged to apply for booth space.
Aspiring participants are invited to submit their applications for exhibit spaces and vendor booths. City staff will diligently review each application to ensure a diverse representation of artistic styles and mediums at the festival. The deadline for submissions is August 13.
Beyond the extensive art showcase, visitors can also enjoy live music performances and interactive art installations and witness the magic of live painting. An arts and crafts market will offer attendees the chance to explore unique handmade creations while indulging in a variety of dishes from food trucks stationed on-site.
The Chula Vista Art Fest is made possible through the generous support of sponsors Grasshopper, Seven Mile Casino, and Stein’s Hollow Art Gallery. Their commitment to promoting the arts in the community has contributed to the realization of this exciting event.
