The Warriors go into Boston and beat the Celtics 103-90 to conquer the NBA finals for the fourth time in seven years.

At the TD Garden on Thursday night, Golden State and Boston faced off in game 6 of the finals with the Warriors just needing one more win to gain another championship in the "golden era" of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green.

And they got it, convincingly.

Boston's Jayson Tatum just couldn't find the rhythm necessary to flip the serious around at no point in these finals, then Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart continued turning the ball over. The Celtics had over 20 turnovers in this game, which paves the way for an experience and more mature basketball team like Golden State.

The Celtics made the game interesting at the end of the third quarter, at one point cutting the game down to single-digits. But just when you thought Boston could tighten up the scoreboard, the Warriors responded to keep the Celtics at distance for the remaining of the game.

And sure enough, Boston looks tired throughout the fourth quarter, while Curry kept driving into the lane and kept extending the lead. Players like Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole contributed just enough to provide extra cushion on the offensive end, and future hall of famer Draymond Green with crucial double-digit rebounds and eight assists after not having his best games earlier in the series.

Superstar Kevin Durant left Golden State two years to seek a new challenge in Brooklyn, leaving the Warriors behind with one less superstar from those championship teams. But it only took a year of transition to get this team back to championship-level basketball, going back to the NBA finals once and again, and winning it… once again.

Stephen Curry won the NBA Finals MVP award for the first time in his legendary career, in a season where the basketball world counted them out at the beginning of this 2021-22 season, and he made sure he reminded everyone of just that after Thursday's game.

"At the beginning of the season, nobody thought we'd be here, except for everyone on this court," Curry said. "It's surreal. Very surreal. We were so far away from it… We hit rock bottom with injuries…. never take this for granted because you never know when you'll get back here."
