A concert held by Mariachi Champaña Nevin featuring a reenactment of Las Posadas, or Mary and Joseph’s arrival to Bethlehem, returns to San Diego on Dec.23 at the Balboa Theater.  

Mexican Carols and familiar American holiday classics will be performed at 7:30 p.m. for people of all ages to display a traditional Mexican Christmas Eve. ​​Mariachi Champaña Nevin and Mónica Ábrego have performed versions of this program with the San Diego Symphony in previous years. 

The program runs for 2 hours and 10 minutes, which includes a 20-minute intermission. Tickets start at $31.50 depending on seating location. Members of the public may purchase tickets on the Balboa Theater's website

Masks are required for all guests regardless of vaccination status. Proof of Vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result is required. More information surrounding COVID-19 safety requirements for all shows beginning Dec.15 can be found here
