NOVO Brazil is hosting a NOVO Holiday Fest this weekend at their Otay Ranch location.
The Chula Vista-based brewery will be hosting its NOVO Holiday Fest on Dec.17, from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its Lane Avenue located at 901 Lane Ave #100 in Chula Vista.
This weekend's event will be free to the public and will include a supply drive for children of Corazon de Vida, an organization whose purpose is to provide support for orphaned and abandoned kids in the state of Baja California in Mexico.
"We are on a mission to end child abandonment by breaking the vicious cycle of poverty," the organization wrote in a statement.
The event will include an art exhibition from Southwestern Community College students, ugly sweater contest, food vendors, and live music.
Preferred items for the supply drive include diapers, dish soaps, and other hygiene products such as deodorant, toothpaste, shampoos, and conditioners.
Raffle tickets on-site will be sold to contribute to Corazon de Vida, which will include prizes such as movie tickets, Hollywood Bowl tickets, gift cards, wine, chocolates, and more.
The event's wreath-making worship is scheduled to take place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets for this worship cost $50 and are available online.
Live music will be brought to you by renowned accordion musician Mark Danisovszky from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed with performances by students from School of Rock Otay Ranch, scheduled to rock-on from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The food vendors on site will be Brazuca Bro Eats with Brazilian taste, and Zs Buddies Sushi & Ramen.
