Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with its Celebration and Family Festival on Saturday, September 9 from Noon to 3 p.m. The popular retail and dining destination in eastern Chula Vista is offering an afternoon of live music, food, cultural performances, and fun for the whole family celebrating the launch of Hispanic Heritage Month which runs from September 15 to October 15.

New to the annual celebration is the addition of the Las Jefas Market, a highly curated marketplace with more than 40 different artisans, food vendors, and creatives. Las Jefas pop-up markets have been extremely popular throughout San Diego County celebrating all cultures and diversity, and this is the first time a themed Las Jefas Market will be part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at Otay Ranch Town Center.

Visitors can spend the afternoon browsing various booths with information related to local Hispanic cultural and civic organizations, dig into tasty food choices provided by a selection of vendors and Otay Ranch Town Center tenants, enjoy live art demonstrations and photo opportunities with authentic Catrinas, musical performances, take fun shots in a themed photo booth and kids can complete a make-and-take craft tied to Hispanic Heritage Month.
