Netflix removes movies and shows from its catalog every month, and often it includes all-time great films that live on forever.
Here are some films you must watch before Netflix removes them by October!
1. 42 (2013)
Everyone knows the legendary story of Jackie Robinson. His importance in the breakthrough of African-American players in Major League Baseball is the most historical legacy in the sport. His number is now retired across the league. This film, starring Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford and Nicole Beharie is a based-on-a-true-story film of the one of the biggest sports icons in American sports history.
2. Dumb and Dumber (1994)
If you are a millennial, this movie played a huge part in your young humorous life; it sure did for me. Starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, this movie is a hilarious film of two "dumbies" who are being hunted down for holding on to a suitcase that contains a fortune of money, even though they believed they were returning a personal suitcase to Lloyd's crush, Molly. It's a crazy storyline, but hilarious nonetheless. So, go watch it one more time before it is gone.
3. Old School (2003)
These raunchy college-theme movies are no longer a trend nowadays since the last decade or so, after the whole American Pie era that produced multiple comedy films throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. However, it is undeniable to say Old School didn't produce a film in which many people watched and had instant flashbacks to their college days. If I watch it today, it brings back old memories from my days at Arizona State University where a large part of this film was indeed a reality in my world, as it was and is for millions of college graduates today. Go rewatch this raunchy comedy one more time with the boys, grab a beer or two and go back through memory lane.
4. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Everyone has a different take on who is the best spider-man in the modern era of comic films. And for many, it is this one, it is Andrew Garfield. This 2012 comic film is a classic within the comic world, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and the legendary Stan Lee. If you are into comic films, this is a movie you have to relive one more time before Netflix removes it next month.
5. RBG (2018)
Relive the life of one of the most historical figures in American Politics. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the second female Associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court after the legendary Sandra Day O'Connor. This documentary film shows the rise of one of the most significant icons in the nation.
