October is Kids Free month at the San Diego Zoo, and children 11 years and younger receive free admission all month long (with an adult).
The popular October event HalGLOWeen returns on weekends, all month long until 9 p.m. There's activities for the whole family, with musical entertainment, dance parties, special performances from Dr. Zoolittle and Zoo characters. Kids 11 and younger can come in costumes that align with the zoo's guidelines.
HalGLOWeen is included in all memberships and all admission tickets, and kids 11 and under have free admission for the whole month of October. Activities start at 5 p.m.
