Sesame Place® San Diego, the West Coast’s premier theme park inspired by Sesame Street®, is set to launch Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest, an exciting event celebrating everyone’s favorite furry friends! Packed with unique activities, dance parties, storytimes, and exclusive photo opportunities, each weekend promises unforgettable family fun. The event will run from January 13 to March 17, every Saturday and Sunday.

- Captain Cookie’s Pirate Weekend (Jan. 13 – 14): Embark on a swashbuckling adventure with Captain Cookie! Dress in pirate gear, enjoy a special storytime, Treasure Treats with Captain Cookie Monster, and capture unique family photos.
- Abby’s Magic Weekend (Jan. 20 – 21): Join Abby Cadabby for a magical weekend featuring a new magic show and strolling magicians. Immerse yourself in a world of wonder.
- Ernie’s Birthday Bash Weekend (Jan. 27 – 28): Celebrate Ernie’s birthday with a quack-tastic Golden Duck Hunt and crafting birthday cards for the beloved character.
- Elmo’s Rockin’ Birthday Weekend (Feb. 3 – 4): Get ready to rock with Elmo! Enjoy a special birthday scavenger hunt, creative chalk art, and a rockin’ Storytime with Elmo.
- My Fuzzy Valentine Weekend (Feb. 10 – 11): Delight in a Valentine’s Day celebration, making cards, enjoying treats, and more!
- Super Grover’s Everyday Heroes Weekend (Feb. 17 – 18): Celebrate local heroes with Super Grover! Meet police officers and firefighters, enjoy a special Storytime, and dance at a heroes-themed party.
- Tango’s Fur-ever Friends Weekend (Feb. 24 – 25): Join Tango and Sesame Street pals to celebrate pets with a pet adoption event, scavenger hunt, and dance party.
- Oscar’s Trash-tastic Weekend (March 2 – 3): Dive into a trash-tastic weekend hosted by Oscar with new trash-themed games, storytime, and recycling activities.
- Big Bird Pajama Party Weekend (March 9 – 10): Wear your cozy jammies for the ultimate pajama party! Dance, enjoy Storytime with Big Bird, and more.
- Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration & Furry Fest Finale Weekend Bash (March 16 – 17): Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a scavenger hunt, storytime, festive snacks, and more! Season Pass Members can enjoy an exclusive Finale Weekend Bash.
Guests visiting four times from January 13 to March 10 can earn an exclusive invitation to a party with Park President Jim Lake, receiving a limited-edition Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest Collector’s Pin.
Starting January 13, Season Pass Members receive a free Sticker Collection Book, with each page dedicated to a specific Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest theme.
