A 17-year-old teenager is confirmed dead following a fight at a party in Chula Vista.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday after an altercation at the house party eventually led to the fatal stabbing that left one dead and two seriously wounded.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the second victim is expected to survive, though the third wounded was reported unconscious and suffered significant injuries from the attack.

CVPD was called to address the incident just before 1 a.m., where they found the now-deceased 17-year-old victim with one stabbing found on his upper body area. Medics then attempted to keep the victim alive but succumbed to his fatal wounds before arriving at the hospital, according to officials.

The second victim was also a 17-year-old teenager that was spotted outside without consciousness, due to facial and body injuries from an attack on site, said CVPD. He was later hospitalized and is expected to survive the incident.

The third victim, also 17, was found just a few blocks away from the house party location on Rigley Street, where he was seen injured with stab wounds on his upper body area. He has also been hospitalized.

There have been no arrests made at this time.

Chula Vista Police Department is asking for help from any locals who attended this particular party on Rigley Street, or anyone else with valuable information on the incident.
