If you’re looking for a fun day of shopping and dining in a relaxed atmosphere, whether for a while or staying the day and hanging out with friends, you can visit the Monthly Artisan Market at The Soap Factory.
La Onda Arte Latino with Suspiro Tropical Radio are hosting their once-a-month Artisan Market this upcoming Sunday, November 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at their usual spot in The Soap Factory.
In collaboration with ‘The Good Merc,’ this month’s Artisan Market will have a ‘Friendsgiving theme’ in which they will host a canned food drive to help bless some local families in need at Thanksgiving.
“We will be giving Turkey with all of the trimmings to selected families and are collecting canned goods (corn, cranberries, gravy, green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes) and gift cards (to help buy the food).”
The meals from the food drive will be handed out the week of Thanksgiving; if you would like to learn more about the event, you can click here.
Additionally, the Artisan Market will be showcasing an art show with items priced under $50, making it an excellent opportunity to start shopping for Christmas gifts. At the Market, you can discover one-of-a-kind, handmade, and culturally inspired gift items that you can purchase for your loved ones, friends, or even yourself.
Likewise, there will be multiple amazing vendors, great music from DJ Saul Timba, and delicious food, desserts, and drinks for lunch or dinner.
To participate in the Art show, please get in touch with Melody at chicanalillystudio@gmail.com.
If you are a vendor interested in selling at the Market, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Andy Gonzalez at agonzoart5@gmail.com.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!
