The San Diego Humane Society wants prospective adopters to name their price for adult dogs ages 7 months and older through Sunday. 

This promotion will take place through Nov. 20 to allow adopters name their price out of 230 available adult dogs. 

“We have an incredible amount of adult dogs in our care and we are running out of space,” said San Diego Humane Society Chief Operating Officer Jessica Des Lauriers. “We would love to see these deserving pups in homes where they belong instead of kennels. Even a shelter as great as ours can’t compare to the comfort of a home.”

There is a total of 650 animals available for adoption at the San Diego Humane Society. Officials say adoption can help create space in the shelter for other animals. 

Other benefits include getting an animal who has been assessed and cared for, getting a pet who has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and receiving an adoption guarantee, training advice, and educational information for the life of the animal.
