The weekend is just around the corner, so new things are happening in San Diego within the next few days. 

Here are five things taking place near you this weekend!

1. Pure Project Fall Fest (Balboa Park)

Fall is upon us and it is time to enjoy Balboa Park in this family-friendly event. On Sunday, October 23rd, Pure Project Fall Fest will offer a variety of features such as local vendors, food trucks, beer, and more of the following: 

– Fall Market featuring local vendors (starting at 12pm on 10/23 in the Biergarten)
– Festive fall decor & hay bales (for all your best autumnal photo ops!)
– Pumpkins! Including a pumpkin painting station for the kiddos
– A fall-themed cocktail served in a pumpkin (while supplies last)

2. Great Pumpkin Beer Festival at Gaslamp 

On Saturday, October 22 from 2:25pm to 10:25pm, this beer festival will offer a holiday vibe like no other with a spooky environment with a whole lot of features. The streets of Gaslamp will be filled on this particular Saturday with live entertainment, food, pumpkin themed brews, and much more! The fun starts in the afternoon and ends late night, so you have no excuse to not stop by at some point!

3. Ghostbusters Party & Movie Night at USS Midway!

Who doesn't love this classic film? Ghostbusters is part of many of our childhoods growing up and it never gets old. However, this is a new opportunity to watch and enjoy it in a new fashion. The U.S.S. Midway showing this film for you and your loved ones is probably an experience you have yet to experience. Get your chairs and warm blankets and come watch this all-time great family classic! Get your tickets asap!

4. Lane Field Park Market & Live Music

Saturday & Sunday – 10 a.m. through to 4 p.m. at Lane Field Park

This is the perfect family-oriented setting for you and your loved ones to enjoy this weekend at Lane Field Park. Come enjoy some delicious street meals with over 30 local food vendors and other craft shops, such as Coffee, Drinks, Desserts, and more. Live music and lawn games will be active on site. 

5. Ruocco Park Promenade Market  

Ruocco Park – Saturday from 10am until 5pm with live music from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. 

Make a stop at Ruocoo Park tomorrow anytime between 10 a.m. to late evening for local craft products, such as delicious coffee, food vendors, crafty jewelery and clothing. Ruocoo Park is located near the Seaport Village area, just before arriving to the U.S.S. Midway Museum. Bring your friends and family!
