New week, new opportunities to check out an event you haven't attended this summer.

Here are five events available for locals this coming weekend in San Diego. 

1. Grupo Firme

The most popular Grupo in the Mexican regional music industry is coming to San Diego this weekend. Grupo Firme originated south of the border here in Tijuana years ago, and it has already become an international phenomenon for its energy and vibrant music. Petco Park will be filled with excitement this weekend as the most popular Mexican regional band performs this Saturday night in San Diego. 

2. 2022 San Diego International Kids' Film Festival 

@ Peninsula Center Library

This is a great activity to enjoy with your family this weekend in San Diego, as the 18th San Diego International Children's Film Festival kicks-off at the Peninsula Center Library. This Film Festival presents a variety of short films from International productions. Film makers and adimators will be appearing as well. 

3. Uke-Con Summer Ukulele Music Festival

This music festival will be filled with Ukulele sounds as the following performers put on a great show: Daniel Ho Aldrine Guerrero, Kris Fuchigami, Andrew Molina, Bernadette Plazola, Hawaiian Dancers Dani Usero, Victoria Kolasinski, and more. 

4. $20 Wake & Bake Bottomless Brunch

5. Craft Beer Festival

San Diego Sea World is hosting a Craft Beer Festival for booze-loving locals. This whole weekend there will be over a 100 craft brews to offer at this incredible festival. In addition, a variety of food options will be available for those who attend this festival. The festival will run through September 11.
