South Bay Sustainable Communities Network is hosting their annual Turkey Day Hike on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25 at 8am.
The community will get a chance to hike Mother Miguel Mountain on the Rock House Trail, it is apt for the entire family with a 4.3 mile out and back trail.
The organization has been hosting this event for several years now and it is part of their continued efforts to inspire everyone to appreciate the nature spaces in Chula Vista.
It is considered a moderate hike and participants are encouraged to bring enough water, hat, tennis shoes and sunblock. As this is an outside event masks will be optional.
The group will meet at the trail head on 2345 Paseo los Gatos, Chula Vista. This events draws hikers from all over the region.
