A Chula Vista man was jailed in Lancaster County, Nebraska after authorities found methamphetamine with a street value of over $450,000 in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Jesus Sanchez-Meza, 25, was headed toward Omaha, Nebraska when members of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Criminal Interdiction Task Force pulled him over on Interstate 80 west, near mile marker 392 for following other vehicles too closely, according to the Lancaster County Sheriffs Office.
According to Sheriff Terry Wagner, a K-9 officer was deployed for reasonable suspicion.
Task force members found 20 pounds of methamphetamine under the rear seat of the pickup truck upon their search.
Meza was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver.
