The Chula Vista Police Department publicly identified the victim who died in the car-to-car shooting on Wednesday and released images of the suspected vehicle. 

Chula Vista Resident, Eduardo Villasenor, 38, suffered multiple gunshot wounds on Oct. 26 at around 10 a.m.when another driver shot at him in his vehicle near the intersection of Broadway and E street. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. 

Witnesses reported the assailant was in a 2010-2012 gray four-door Nissan Altima, which stopped along the north curb in front of 593 E Street. According to witness statements, the suspect and victim were seen driving westbound on E Street in two separate vehicles prior to the shooting. 

Both vehicles stopped along the roadway. The drivers exited their vehicles and approached each other. One of the drivers then shot the other and fled in a silver or gray, 4-door sedan. 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, of unknown age, 5’8” to 5’9”, medium build, with short hair. According to police, the suspect’s car has a dent on the left (driver-side) rear quarter panel, a circular sticker on the left side of the trunk, and a sticker on the right (passenger-side) rear window.
