The Chula Vista Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred Friday morning within one hour of each other and is asking the public for information.
According to the department, the burglaries happened on July 15 within an hour of each other between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The two burglarized Rolling Hills Ranch homes are on Range Gate Road and Via Maggiore Road,
A home security video shared by the Chula Vista Police Department shows two people covered head to toe in all-black attire. What appears to be a black ski mask covers their heads and a portion of their faces.
According to police, the burglars drove in a red Lexus Rx with another person.
“These crimes occurred during the week at a time when most are expected to be away from home. Remember to secure your homes as best as possible and look out for your neighbors. #seesomethingsaysomething,” the department wrote in a social media post.
