Those who are traveling this week will encounter scheduled road closures on state highways 805 and 905 and Interstate 5, according to the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans).
Partial closures are between now and Thursday, March 24. CalTrans reported that their crews would be making pavement improvements on all three highways.
The work will be carried out from 9:00 p.m. on Sunday to 5:00 a.m. on Thursday.
On the 905, lanes will be closed to westbound Howard Avenue, and drivers will reroute.
The ramp that connects the 805 South to the 905 will also be closed. Drivers will need to exit onto San Ysidro Boulevard and then onto the 805 north to merge onto the 905 if heading east.
