The Chula Vista Police Department investigates a fatal physical confrontation between a man and a security guard Monday evening at Seven Mile Casino.
Authorities were called to Seven Mile Casino located at 285 Bay Blvd. in response to a physical confrontation between the casino security guard and a man.
The man, who is believed to be transient, sustained injuries from an altercation at the casino’s main entrance, according to police. He was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center.
The man later died at the hospital due to his injuries.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday Morning.
The CVPD homicide detectives will be investigating the series of events leading to the confrontation.
