A non-ambulatory man with dementia was reported missing from a senior assisted living facility in Chula Vista and the police asked for the public’s help.
Christopher Dawsknowles, 79, was last seen on July 2 being wheeled away by 32-year-old Thomas Pina Gonzalez in the 100 Block of Third Avenue, Chula Vista. According to police, their destination was unknown and the wheelchair was left behind.
Dawsknowles is described as a white male with green eyes and grey, shoulder-length hair that is 5’11 and weighs 152 lbs. He was last seen wearing a green hospital gown.
According to police, Dawsknowles is unable to physically move around on his own with or without a wheelchair and is considered at risk due to dementia and medication requirements.
Authorities have been unable to locate or contact Thomas Pina Gonzalez.
