The Chula Vista Police Department seeks the public's help in identifying a man who stole thousands of dollars worth of items from an unlocked car.
The suspect stole several items estimated to be worth $3,000 in total from an unlocked car on May 3, the CVPD announced on social media. Surveillance footage of the suspect shows a man between the ages of 20 to 30 years old, with a ponytail, wearing a baseball hat, a face mask, a sweatsuit, and Asics running shoes that are black and grey.
Authorities ask anyone with information to call the CVPD non-emergency line at (619) 691-5151. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or submit a tip via the P3 Tips app.
