The normal flow of traffic on northbound Interstate 5 in Chula Vista is restored after a collision involving several vehicles early Tuesday morning caused a back-up.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) dispatch reported the collision shortly after 5 a.m. on I-5 north, before State Route 54. Dispatchers reported at least three vehicles were involved in the crash and two hospitalized individuals, though details of their injuries remain undisclosed.
The CHP reported all freeway lanes reopened as of 6:42 a.m.
